Chen-Ta Sung is doctoral researcher in computer-mediated communication in London. He has a broad academic background surrounding media and communication, from mass media practice to digital media research. He is interested in the areas of digital culture and everyday life, computer-mediated interpersonal interaction, audience, and methodology. He is currently working on a project that explores how practices of interpersonal interaction/social relationships unfold on digital environments shaped by diverse social media.

Chen-Ta works as a survey researcher in the private banking, foreign exchange, and real estate surveys at Euromoney magazine based in London. Within the projects, he is responsible for data collection and client coordination among Asia-pacific areas. In 2016/2017, he will work as associate lecturer in the module 'Culture and Cultural Studies' at Goldsmiths, University of London.

Before continuing his academic career in London, he worked as a research assistant (2009-2011) at the government information office in Taiwan. In 2010 he was an assistant account manager in PR at AcrossChina Communication Ltd in Beijing, China.
